If you’re looking for a fly fishing experience, Halls Country House is the accommodation option from which to conduct your quest for a wild brown or a trophy rainbow. Through our association with the WildFly Fly-Fishing Club we are able to offer our guests access to some truly outstanding waters, both still and river.

WildFly exclusively manages some 28 dams and 2 stretches of river in the foothills of the Drakensberg and in the Natal Midlands. WildFly monitors all aspects of water ecology including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, dissolved salts, nitrates and phosphates to determine the carrying capacity of each stretch of water and uses this information to scientifically control rod pressure. They encourage “catch and release” but also specify water-specific size and bag limits for cropping purposes. This guarantees that your fly fishing experience will exceed your expectations in terms of quantity and quality.
